Cardi B Addresses Adding ‘WAP’ & ‘Up’ To New Album
Recently, Cardi B addressed critics and confirmed that her songs “WAP” and “Up” will be included on her upcoming album, Am I the Drama?, stating that her fans have been asking for them to have a home.
The inclusion of “WAP” and “Up” on the album does not impact first-week sales but can help boost RIAA certifications, as both songs reached No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100.
Cardi B released the single “Outside” on June 20, setting the tone for a busy summer for her fans, known as the Bardi Gang.
The album, Am I the Drama?, features a 23-song tracklist and is set to be released on September 19.
She has gone through a challenging journey of over seven years from her debut album, Invasion of Privacy, to her sophomore album. She has also moved on from her estranged husband Offset and is currently in a relationship with NFL star Stefon Diggs, with the couple spending time together at Paris Fashion Week in a French castle.
