Meek Mill responded to a follower who called him “slow” on social media by highlighting his financial success and community contributions.

“I have millions in my bank account,” Meek responded. “[R]espected by the streets and the wealthy … with over 30m raised to fight the system with reform… all houses owned from my gmom and mom… and I look out for my community … let’s compare lives right here in front of the world lol.”

Meek Mill explained his choice to wear hoodies to speaking engagements is to be considered a Black man from the streets, honoring Trayvon Martin. Fans created memes and jokes about Meek Mill’s social media presence, including his tweets and comments.

HipHopDX’s Jeremy Hecht suggested the need for a museum dedicated to Meek Mill’s tweets.
