What is Open on New Year’s Eve?
When it comes to holiday hours, things seem to be business as usual on New Year’s Eve. While hours may vary by location, many places are operating on Tuesday, though some with limited hours. Grocery stores like Albertsons, Safeway, Vons, Sam’s Club, and Trader Joe’s are expected to close early for the holiday. And, good news if you have any last-minute banking needs: most banks should be operating under normal hours since New Year’s Eve is not a federal holiday.
