Damon Wayans Sr. revealed that he once dated his nephew’s ex-girlfriend, admitting that he was in love with her. The relationship began two years after his divorce and he only found out about his nephew’s past involvement with the woman after he was emotionally invested. Wayans sought his nephew’s blessing before pursuing the relationship, and despite the awkwardness at family gatherings, he said it was okay. The comedian shared the story during an interview with Shannon Sharpe on “Club Shay Shay.”
